Dogg Style turns a photo of a person into a playful dog portrait. It is entertainment, not a scientific or medical product. It is not directed at children under 13.
The first time you tap Create, the app asks you to confirm you are 13 or older and to allow sending that photo to our server and OpenAI. You can say no. Camera access is optional: you can pick a library photo instead. You can withdraw consent by not sending more photos and by using Info → Delete my photos, which removes photos on this phone and finished results still stored for your session on our server. Purchase records stay so a restore can work. That is not a refund. You can also delete your account from Your account → Delete account.
Camera. If you tap Camera, the browser asks for camera access so you can take a selfie. The live preview is the recording indicator. We do not keep the stream after you close it. We do not use the microphone.
What we collect. The photo you choose (resized on your device); a pseudonymous session cookie (HttpOnly) for free/paid credits; a store-verified purchase confirmation (not your full card number). Historic website purchase records may include Stripe references. If you sign in, we store the name, email address, provider identity, and session data supplied by your login provider. We keep account-linked credits, subscriptions, and the photos you choose to save. Your credit session is linked to your account when you sign in. We also use IP addresses and session identifiers for abuse prevention. We do not run ads or tracking SDKs.
How we use it. The photo is sent to our servers and to OpenAI to analyze visible features and generate the result. We do not use it for ads, sell it, or use it to identify you. A result becomes public only when you choose to create a public sharing link.
Third parties. OpenAI analyzes the photo. OpenAI creates the image from it. Apple processes In-App Purchases in the iOS app, and Google handles Play purchases on Android. The website does not offer photo creation or payments. Stripe may process records and refunds for historic website purchases. Their privacy and retention policies apply. We do not share photos with advertisers or data brokers.
Your original photo is not saved to your gallery unless you explicitly select that option. A finished result is available privately for 24 hours so it can be delivered if the connection drops. Expired buffers are removed by scheduled hourly cleanup. Backups and provider logs can live longer; we don’t promise every copy vanishes at that exact time.
Recent photo history lives in this browser (up to 10). Photos you explicitly save to My gallery are stored privately in our database, linked to your account, and sync across devices. They remain until you delete them or delete your account, including after a subscription ends. Gallery access requires your signed-in session. Info → Delete my photos removes local history, drafts, buffered results, and your gallery photos when signed in. Clearing browser storage alone does not delete your cloud gallery.
Anyone with a public sharing link can view that result. Info → Delete my photos removes your public sharing records as well as private photos. Deleting your account also removes its sharing records, including links created on devices linked to the account. Copies already saved by other people or cached by social platforms may remain.
Access to your data. Sign in and open Your account → Export account data for your profile, credits, purchase history, saved-photo links and public sharing links. Download photos and any saved originals separately from My gallery while signed in. Browser-only history is stored on that device and is not included in the account export.
Content reports. You can report an AI result or public sharing link inside the app. We keep the reason, optional note, result reference and submitting account/session so we can review the concern. With your separate permission, a small copy of an available generated result can be attached for private review; the original photo is not attached. Child-safety reports do not attach an image. Access is restricted to authorised safety reviewers. We remove report images when a report is closed and remove reports after 30 days through hourly cleanup. Account-linked reports are removed with the account; Delete my photos also removes reports for your linked photo sessions.
Your choices and requests. You can request account deletion on the web without reinstalling the app. Contact contact@doggstyle.app to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, or to withdraw permission for future AI processing. We verify ownership before disclosing or changing account data. You may complain to your data protection authority; in Sweden this is IMY.
We record technical AI usage, model names, request status, token counts, duration, and cost estimates to monitor service costs. These records do not contain photos or prompts. Payment and accounting records may be retained after account deletion. Provider backups and logs follow their retention policies.
