DOGG STYLE GUIDE

A clearer selfie is a better starting point

For an AI dog portrait, start with a clear photo of one adult, facing the camera in even light. These practical choices help the face remain easy to read; they do not guarantee a particular result.

Find soft, even light

Face a window or another soft light source. Avoid strong light behind your head, which can leave the face in shadow. You should be able to see both eyes without a bright flash reflection. A normal indoor photo is enough; professional equipment is not required.

Keep one face in the frame

Choose a photo with a single person and leave some space around the head. Avoid group pictures, strong sideways angles and objects covering the mouth or eyes. Glasses can create glare; sunglasses hide useful facial detail. Hold the camera near eye level rather than very high or low.

Skip heavy retouching

A beauty filter, face warp or heavily compressed screenshot can make the source harder to interpret. Prefer the original photo from your library when possible. Check that the picture is sharp before continuing. Do not upload an identity document or another sensitive image as a substitute for a selfie.

Review permission before generation

Only use a picture you have the right to process. The app explains third-party AI processing before generation. If you want a different result later, review the current credits or purchase screen first instead of assuming repeated attempts have no cost.
